Workforce and rostering specialist permanent role with a salary of $120,000k plus super based in Sydney CBD

We are currently working with an aged care organisation to look for a workforce planning and rostering specialist to join a newly created workforce planning team. This is an exciting time to be a part of a growing team and work for a purpose organisation. This is a permanent opportunity that offers hybrid work based in the Sydney CBD with a salary of up to $120,000k plus super.

Your new role

  • Develop and implement strategic rostering plans that align with organisational goals.
  • Analyse historical data and forecast future staffing needs based on demand patterns, trends, and business requirements to ensure accurate and timely staffing.
  • Continuously review and optimise rostering processes to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance staff satisfaction within the designated region.
  • Conduct regular roster reviews and optimisation to ensure effective alignment of staff with demand requirements.
  • Review and manage leave requests, track, and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to rostering and staffing, making data-driven decisions to improve performance.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and provide regular updates.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in a related field
  • Experience in understanding rostering and resource planning processes, theories, and methodologies.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and experience in applying industrial, regulatory rules or enterprise agreements within a business.
  • High level of prioritisation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to think creatively and work within multiple/conflicting time constraints.
  • Ability to analyse complex data sets and identify trends and patterns.
