We're seeking an experienced Senior Workforce Analyst to join a high-performing team responsible for shaping workforce decisions through analytics, reporting, and evidence-based insights.

Your new role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support strategic people initiatives.
- Developing reports, dashboards, and visualisations that provide meaningful workforce insights to leaders and decision-makers.
- Partnering with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate information needs into practical reporting solutions.
- Supporting workforce planning and organisational change initiatives through accurate workforce and establishment analysis.
- Maintaining the quality, accuracy, and integrity of workforce information through ongoing review and data governance activities.
- Contributing to the evolution of workforce analytics through the development of new metrics, insights, and reporting approaches.
- Sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to continuously improve systems, processes, and service delivery outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a data-driven professional with the ability to balance technical capability with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
You enjoy solving complex problems, can confidently interpret large datasets, and are able to communicate findings in a way that influences decision-making.
You'll ideally bring:
- Experience working with workforce, HR, payroll, or organisational data in a large and complex environment.
- Advanced skills in Power BI, SQL, Excel, and other reporting or analytics platforms.
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, and analytical products for diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Exposure to government workforce reporting or public sector environments will be highly regarded.
