Your new company
You will be working for a large government agency, supporting them through a large-scale transformation. In this 3-month contract you will be paid an attractive rate of up to $1,066 p/d + super.
Your new role
The Org Design & Change Specialist leads the review and design of divisional and branch-level operating models, organisational structures, functional accountabilities, and role designs. The goal is to ensure that future state models, functions, and roles align with organisational design principles and other relevant parameters.

Develop and map current and future state functional accountabilities for divisions, branches, and units.

Create organisational design and structural options that align with operating model principles and characteristics.

Develop and oversee detailed organisational structure charts, ensuring alignment with workforce data and resolving anomalies.

Ensure consistency in organisation and role design approaches across divisions and branches.

Build strong relationships with business leaders and enabling functions to develop accurate and fit-for-purpose materials.

Provides oversight, quality assurance, and coordination for role descriptions and the job evaluation process, ensuring compliance and consistency.
What you'll need to succeed

Organisational Design Expertise: Experience in reviewing and designing operating models, organisational structures, and role designs.

Functional Accountability Mapping: Ability to develop and map current and future state functional accountabilities.

Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in building relationships with business leaders and enabling functions.

Quality Assurance: Experience in providing oversight and quality assurance for role descriptions and job evaluation processes.

Consistency in Design: Ability to drive consistency in organisational and role design approaches across various divisions and branches.

Data Alignment: Proficiency in ensuring alignment with organisational workforce data and resolving any anomalies.
