Your new company
We are looking for a Senior Investigator to join a large Queensland government organisation dedicated to keeping communities safe through effective correctional services from 08/06/2026 to 04/09/2026 in Brisbane CBD.
Your new role
As a Senior Investigator, you'll lead workplace investigations into misconduct and integrity-related matters. You'll manage investigations end-to-end, from gathering evidence and conducting interviews, through to analysing findings and preparing detailed reports.
Working closely with a range of internal stakeholders, you'll play a key role in supporting a fair, transparent, and accountable workplace, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and mentoring others within the team.
What you'll need to succeed

Strong experience conducting investigations, ideally within the public sector

Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage sensitive conversations

Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

Experience preparing clear, well-structured reports

Ability to manage competing priorities and work within set timeframes

High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential matters

A tertiary qualification in a relevant field including nationally recognised qualifications in Government (investigations, workplace inspections and/or fraud control) would be highly regarded
