Your new role

Reporting to the Manager of Workforce Relations, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting case management and HR project coordination across a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team, including advisors and operational managers, and contribute to meaningful outcomes across multiple campuses.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting complex performance and conduct case management, including documentation drafting and process coordination.
  • Providing expert advice on employee relations matters and ethical conduct.
  • Assisting with HR project work such as leadership training rollouts, process implementation, and ad hoc coordination requests.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and advisors to ensure consistent and compliant HR practices.
  • Contributing to cultural change initiatives and modelling organisational values.
  • Preparing reports, briefings, and correspondence for senior leadership.

What you'll need to succeed

What you'll need to succeed to thrive in this role, you'll bring:
  • A background in industrial relations or employee relations, ideally within the public sector.
  • Experience managing performance and conduct matters, including complex casework.
  • Strong drafting and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a large, social, and collaborative team.
  • Confidence in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Experience with HRIS systems-Aurion highly desirable; Power BI exposure advantageous.
  • A proactive mindset and ability to coordinate multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field is highly desirable.
