HR Partners by Randstad has an opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to join our government client site in Brisbane's North. This opportunity is a 6 month fixed term role. Offering a wfh arrangement and $4393.60 - 4691.60 (plus 12.75% super) dependent on experience.
About the role:
- Provide strategic HR advice and support, including workforce planning, recruitment and case management activities, to deliver practical business outcomes and ensure quality people management practices.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of current HR practices and systems, industrial instruments and emerging trends to ensure compliance and contribution to business improvement.
- Analyse payroll and other employee data to address individual and broader workforce issues, define risks and present evidence-based solutions to support decision making processes.
- Contribute to HR capability across the workforce through the design, development and delivery (online and face to face) of procedures, guidelines and resources.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to support HR initiatives and meet desired outcomes.
- Research, review and prepare reports, briefs, submissions and other correspondence in accordance with departmental requirements.
- Represent the department and participate in HR projects and working groups to ensure outcomes are delivered within agreed timeframes and meet business and client's needs.
- Contribute to team cohesiveness and capability through participation in professional development opportunities and promotion of a positive environment, respectful of the views of others.
- Experience in a simialr role within a Australian government department or statutory body.
- Experience in a contemporary HR environment.
