This established and growing private sector business is now seeking an experienced and proactive People & Culture Manager to join its Senior Leadership Team. This is a newly created, full-time permanent position based in Launceston, with flexibility for candidates located in Hobart.

Your new role
Reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer, the People & Culture Manager will provide comprehensive HR support across the organisation and lead the P&C function strategically and operationally. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of HR practices, and the ability to analyse data to inform decisions.

You will ensure compliance with legislative requirements and promote a high-performing organisational culture. Your expertise will support recruitment, development, and engagement of a talented workforce, fostering diversity, inclusivity, and employee well-being. This hands-on role is a key part of the senior leadership team.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll bring proven experience at Business Partnering or Management level in HR. You enjoy identifying, developing, and implementing strong processes, procedures, and systems. You have practical knowledge of contemporary HR practices and strategies.

Whether or not you've led a team, your excellent relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills will enable effective collaboration across the business. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities are essential. You are self-motivated, accountable, and committed to fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Essential Requirements
- A current Degree, Diploma, or Formal Qualification in Human Resources
- A full driver's licence and ability to travel weekly between Launceston and Hobart
- Experience in the private sector and/or family-owned businesses, with a commercial mindset
- Experience with HR systems supporting the full employee lifecycle, including identifying, developing, implementing, and reviewing systems to streamline operations
