Your new company

Global Pharmaceutical business with workforce across the world in a variety of established and new markets. Seeking an experienced Part-time HR Business Partner to take on a newly created role to support the ANZ market. A start-up style role in a high-growth organisation in for ANZ, based in Sydney.

The client needs someone with Pharma, Medical, Biotech or Clinical industry experience. This is ESSENTIAL for the role.

Your new role

  • Due to growth and new market entry, this role has been created locally to embed HR processes, culture, values and structures for the Australia and NZ workforce and leaders.
  • You will be part of a truly global HR team, across a matrix structure and partner across timezones and countries.
  • Operational work will include engagement and values - embedding values into the fabric of the growth organization
  • Employee relations, legislative matters and advising employees on all ANZ legislation
  • Recruitment - working closely with hiring managers to identify and attract the best talent for the business which will also include talent pooling, strategic talent strategies
  • Onboarding and training new employees and ensuring their training and development and career journey goes smoothly
  • Delivery of global projects locally
  • Responsible for Remuneration and benefits, HR and Payroll queries
  • Implementing HR processes, policies, systems from scratch with support from Global HR
  • Hands on basic duties also with global Centres of Excellence to lean on
  • Stand-alone role reporting to the Country Head

What you'll need to succeed

  • You MUST have experience working in a global HR team and within an ANZ role. This is a truly global business in both physical locations and mindset. You must have experience of working in a matrix structure and enjoy a constantly changing working world.
  • The client needs someone with Pharma, Medical, Biotech or Clinical industry experience. This is ESSENTIAL for the role.
  • You will have past or current experience working in a start-up or scale-up style
    You will enjoy working and thrive in more entrepreneurial environments and businesses
  • You will have strong coaching skills and be able to hold your own with senior leaders and C-Suite
  • Be a hands-on HR generalist who can work both strategically and operationally
  • Recruitment - if you are someone who is working in Talent Acquisition and have the industry experience and looking for a step up.

What you'll get in return

  • The salary is open depending on the experience and offered on a Pro Rata basis for three or four days, plus bonus
    This is not a senior or exec-style level, so emphasising this will not be paying senior salary packages or able to offer part-time on a consultancy basis
  • This is a part-time role offering three or possible four days a week and will be office based. This is important for the business as it's a newly created role they need a presence in the office due to the part-time nature of the hours.
  • Great offices in a central North Shore location with access to cafés, restaurants and the metro line.
