Your new role

In this temporary assignment, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
  • Apply structured change management methodologies and lead related activities.
  • Preparation of change management artefacts including; stakeholder analysis, change impacts assessment, communications strategies and change readiness assessments, ensuring change activities are integrated to project plans.
  • Design overall Change Management Strategy and communication products.
  • Identify change risks and resistance, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Coach managers and staff to drive adoption and manage stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across teams to create actionable plans (communications, sponsor roadmap, training).
  • Engage and support senior leaders in leading change.
  • Design and deliver training programs and workshops to support change.
  • Monitor change initiative progress and update the change roadmap.
  • Leading change management forums to provide regular updates on change initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Define, track, and report on change success metrics.
  • Support change management at the organisational level.
  • Build internal capability by transferring skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain clear and accurate business and technical documentation.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should have:
  • Experience in end-to-end change management analysis and implementation.
  • Experience in using SharePoint and Teams.
  • Confidence and skills in providing change advice and coaching to project stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, networking, and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to create compelling presentation and training materials.
  • Flexible in adjusting styles to deliver desired change outcomes.
  • Experience in using PROSCI or other change methodology.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in planning and managing strategically aligned organisational change in a government department.
