Immediate Start Temporary Role with Permanent Potential!

Work in the critical world of Emergency Services. Hays are currently seeking two Industrial Relations experts to join this Victorian State Government authority.

Your new role

This role is crucial in providing expert advice and support on all matters related to Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA) and industrial relations. You will play a key role in interpreting EBAs, documenting policies and procedures, and providing guidance to managers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpretation of EBA and providing advice
  • Creating guides for managers to interpret the EBA
  • Dispute resolution in regard to the EBA
  • Support restructuring processes
  • Case management

What you'll need to succeed

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Extensive experience in providing industrial relations advice.
  • Proven track record in Enterprise Agreement negotiations, particularly within government, local council, or health sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the complexities of working within these environments.
Desirable Skills and Attributes:
  • Resilience and the ability to stand firm in negotiations with unions.
  • Experience dealing with multiple unions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What you'll get in return

A full-time or part-time temporary assignment via Hays with this State Government authority. You'll be paid weekly, with an hourly rate starting from $75ph up to $110ph + super. This organisation works on a work from home and in office rotation of 5 and 5 per fortnight. Offices are based in the East of Melbourne. There are permanent roles that need to be recruited for, so set yourself up to be in the running by getting a foot in the door in a temporary role!
