Looking for an opportunity to further your skills and take you through to the new financial year? We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Officer who loves working in a generalist capacity to come and support the wider Human Resources team within this State Government Department.

Your new role

As the Human Resources Officer, reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for providing support across the whole HR lifecycle whilst creating a professional and exceptional experience. Your duties will also include however not limited to;

• Provide day-to-day advice and support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain a cohesive and efficient database.
• Oversee and manage payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll.
• Assist with new employee documentation and correspondence.
• Ensuring compliance is in line with regulations and maintaining reports whilst ensuring strict confidentiality.
• Be the first point of contact for any Human Resources queries.
