We are on the lookout for an innovative Human Resources Consultant to join this State Government Department on a temporary basis as they embrace this exciting period of growth! Your new role

As the Human Resources Consultant, reporting into the Human Resources Manager you will provide your expertise and advice on all Human Resources matters and be an employee engagement enthusiast! Working with the wider Human Resources team, you will contribute to Human Resources initiatives which will add value to a culture of high performance and accountability! Your duties will also include but not limited to;

• Resolving employee conflicts, guiding disciplinary actions, and steering performance management.
• Lead attracting top talent, from crafting job postings to conducting, engaging interviews and ensuring smooth onboarding.
• Collaborate in shaping, implementing, and enforcing HR policies that align with regulations and best practices.
• Partner with the Human Resources Manager to orchestrate performance appraisals, set inspiring objectives, and deliver constructive feedback.
• Identify growth opportunities and co-ordinate impactful training programs to elevate employee skills and performance.
• Dive into HR metrics and reports, providing insightful recommendations to the Human Resources team and senior management.
• Take the lead on HR projects and initiatives, driving them to successful completion.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful within this opportunity, you will have demonstrated experience within ER practices, exceptional communication skills and be able to lead and guide HR initiatives independently. You will thrive within a fast paced environment and have the ability to form effective relationships.
