Hays is working with a well-known Government Owned Organisation to find a Human Resources Advisor for a 6-month temporary opportunity.

Your new role

Located in Southern Tasmania and reporting to the Manager of Employment and Policy, you will support the wider team as an experienced HR Generalist.

Your responsibilities include handling day-to-day HR duties, assisting in project coordination, reviewing statements of duties, assisting in developing HR Policies, managing recruitment processes and preparing formal correspondence including briefing notes and offer letters.

You will also ensure compliance with employment laws and participate in employee relations activities at an Advisor level and with support from the Manager of Employment and Policy.

What you'll need to succeed

Candidates will have experience as an HR Generalist with the desire to learn and develop new skills.

The ideal candidate will also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to work.

Experience with PageUp would be highly desirable.
