Your new role
As the HSEQ Coordinator, you support frontline teams and uphold health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. You work closely with the HSEQ Manager and act as a key point of contact for compliance and continuous improvement.
As a pivotal member of their team, you will be entrusted with a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Conduct audits, site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments

Lead toolbox talks and support HSEQ communication across teams

Assist with incident investigations and track corrective actions

Maintain compliance documentation, SDS registers, and legislative updates

Manage inductions, health monitoring, and ergonomic assessments
-
Oversee contractor compliance, documentation, and onboarding
-
Monitor environmental controls such as dust, noise, waste, and erosion

Maintain accurate HSEQ records and produce reports for leadership

Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Support implementation and maintenance of ISO aligned systems

Engage with stakeholders to build safe work practices and accountability
What you'll need to succeed

Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (Cert IV in WHS) or higher
-
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, ISO standards, and Codes of Practice

Experience with HSEQ systems, registers, permits, and compliance processes

High attention to detail with strong record keeping skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSEQ software

Clear communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines
Desirable
-
Experience in construction, logistics, or heavy industry

Internal auditing experience

Exposure to environmental compliance and monitoring systems
