Your new role
Reporting to the Head of HR/IR, this newly available position will focus on managing HR systems, maintaining policy and compliance frameworks, and supporting broader HR operations across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing and optimising HRIS platforms and supporting future system enhancements.
  • Maintaining HR data integrity, reporting, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
  • Developing, reviewing, and updating HR policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation, Fair Work requirements, and WHS obligations.
  • Conducting policy audits and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Providing generalist HR support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, learning and development, and offboarding activities.
  • Partnering closely with payroll, finance, and operational stakeholders to improve people processes and reporting outcomes.
  • Supporting site-based operations through occasional travel to regional and interstate locations.
What you'll need to succeed
  • To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Previous experience in HR systems, HR operations, HR advisory, or policy-focused positions.
  • Around 2+ years' experience in Human Resources, HR systems, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience in data analysis, reporting, and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms and confidence learning new systems.
  • Strong policy development, review, and compliance experience.
  • Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Generalist HR experience across the employee lifecycle.
  • Strong written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a hands-on operational environment.
  • Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, IT Systems, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
