HR Reporting and Analytics officer job in South East Melbourne - permanent. Data and systems skills required!

Your new company
A public-sector organisation in Melbourne's South East is looking to develop the systems arm of their HR team. The organisation provides services to the local community in accordance to strategic plans and policies. They listen, communicate and deliver on what they agree to with their customers.

Your new role
As the HR Reporting and Analytics Officer, you will establish a relevant set of standardized reports, people metrics and dashboards. This will require you to use HR workforce data to create, implement and continuously improve leave reports (excess, unplanned etc.), FTE and establishment reports (vacancies, labour hire, establishment vs budget), separations and commencement reports, employee demographic reports (gender, location, banding breakdown etc.); as well as adhoc. reports as required.

You will work in conjunction with the Manager Human Resources, to support the development of a workforce planning framework and a consultation process to develop a 4-year workforce plan. You will also work collaboratively with Human Resources, Business and Information Technology and Financial and Corporate Planning to deliver high quality data.

This role will also require you to develop and update departmental organisational structure charts.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client is looking for dynamic and systems savvy applicants that can manipulate and use data to aid strategic decision making for senior stakeholders. You will be someone who understands data systems and having experience with Chris 21 (or similar HRIS) Power Bi (or similar) would be advantageous.

You will have proven statistical skills and a strong knowledge of data analytics, while an excellent administrative skill set is critical. Demonstrating an extremely high attention to detail and passion for continuous improvement will be essential for applications to be successful when applying for this position.
