We're seeking a proactive and experienced HR Officer to join a collaborative team in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. This is a temporary opportunity until April 2026, offering a chance to contribute to meaningful HR work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Location: Sydney Eastern Suburbs (Hybrid working available)
Rate: $45-$50 per hour + Super
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until April 2026
About the Role:
As an HR Officer, you'll play a key role in delivering generalist HR support across a diverse client group within corporate services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment administration, onboarding, contract variations, and offboarding processes.
- Provide timely and accurate advice to managers on performance management matters, including guidance on procedures, documentation, and best practices.
- Support and guide managers in the creation and drafting of position descriptions, ensuring alignment with organisational structures and role requirements.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Consultants to ensure consistent and effective HR service delivery across the client group.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (graduate or postgraduate level).
- Relevant experience in a generalist HR role.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Skilled in interpreting HR data and metrics to support business needs.
- Experience managing competing priorities and working both independently and collaboratively.
