Temporary HR Manager job in Melbourne's CBD

Your new company
This area of government is currently looking for a HR Manager to assist on a temporary basis whilst they go through a period of change. Based in Melbourne's CBD, you will work for a small government body that supports Victorian's with legal matters. You will be part of a close-knit HR team that will require your guidance.


Your new role
Your new role will encompass generalist HR tasks such as advising on recruitment selection, assisting with any Employee Relations matters and supporting and advising the learning and development team. Responsible for supporting the CEO on all HR matters, you will be the first point of contact for any HR queries relating to but not limited to policies, procedures and performance management.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a high performing HR Generalist/Advisor. Ideally with previous exposure to working in State Government with proven experience supporting ER/IR matters. Previous experience in recruitment and learning and development will be necessary. You will be organised in your approach and comfortable working to tight deadlines whilst supporting a HR team. In this role you will have 4 direct reports.
