An immediately available HR Manager is required for an established business based in Henderson.
A well-established, family-owned business based South of the River is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead its people and culture function.
This is a hands-on, operational role suited to a pragmatic HR professional who enjoys working closely with the business, building trusted relationships, and delivering practical, commercially focused HR solutions. The role has responsibility for end-to-end HR operations and leads one direct report.
Reporting directly to the COO, the HR Manager will be responsible for:
- End-to-end delivery of generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle
- Managing employee and industrial relations matters with a solutions-focused approach
- Leading recruitment, onboarding, performance management and remuneration processes
- Providing coaching and advice to leaders and employees on HR best practice
- Ensuring compliance with workplace legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and policies
- Developing, implementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures
- Supporting organisational initiatives and continuous improvement projects
- Managing and mentoring one HR team member
To be successful in the role, you will have proven experience as a generalist HR practitioner or manager within an operational environment. You will be comfortable working in a small to medium-sized, family-owned business and be able to demonstrate a practical and approachable style of management. A tertiary qualification in human resources would be preferable. This opportunity will suit an HR professional who enjoys being actively involved in the day-to-day operations of a business and making a tangible impact.
