Perm HR Manager role based in Northern Sydney

You will be joining a business that operates in a blue-collar industry that is forward-thinking in its practices. This is a permanent role based in the north of Sydney. This role is full-time working in the office and is very close to public transport. With an attractive salary dependent on experience.

Your new role

The role will be overseeing the HRA function across the country in Australia and New Zealand. In this HR Manager role, you will oversee the HR admin and report to the managing director. Some of your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing trusted advice on employee relations, industrial relations and performance management matters
  • Managing all aspects of office administration, including procurement
  • Reviewing, updating and drafting policies and procedures
  • Creating and driving the business HR strategy
  • Assisting with recruitment
  • Producing reports and analysing HR data

What you'll need to succeed

Your experience in an HR Manager role and having worked in a blue-collar industry is a must, as well as:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or similar field
  • Extensive labour legislation knowledge for Australia and NZ
  • Experience working in a highly regulated and compliance-driving company
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build rapport at the senior management level
