A generalist HR Coordinator is required for a 6-9-month contract based south of the River.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a small mining and resources organisation based south of the River on a six-to nine-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Senior HR Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting all transactional and operational human resources including:

• Review, design and development of policies and procedures
• Maintenance and creation of HR files and related administration
• Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process
• Raising and amending contracts of employment
• Completion of recruitment due diligence and compliance
• Supporting onboarding and inductions
• Responding to employee queries in a timely and efficient manner and escalation to the Senior HR Specialist
• Support the business with HR reporting and analytics
• Partnering with HR initiatives and projects when required

This position would suit an individual who is seeking the opportunity to further consolidate their human resources experience and enjoys working within a smaller business where you can utilise your existing skills and be a visible resource. It is essential that you have prior experience of the above tasks and a working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards, a formalised qualification in Human Resources would be preferred. An immediate start will be required.

This is a full-time role based a 5-minute drive south of the CBD with parking available on site or accessible via public transport.
There may be further opportunity for extension and, as such, it is essential that you possess full working rights for Australia.
