About the role
As HRBP you will be based out of our Wagga Wagga site, where you will be reporting remotely into the General Manager - Human Resources. You will be working in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders across the Southern NSW region.

Primary Objectives:
  • Partner with the people leaders in the business to provide best practice advice in areas relating to people and employee relations.
  • Work in partnership with the business to provide specialist coaching, support and influence to enable leaders to effectively deliver their people plans.
  • Work with the General Manager, HR, to deliver best practice and commercially focused HR solutions that support the business in conjunction with specialist HR functions. Work cohesively with other HR teams to drive the delivery of key projects aligned with both the group wide and business unit people strategies.
  • Deliver key initiatives in line with the people calendar including the remuneration review and talent reviews.
About the team: The Grains HR team consists of six people, covering five locations that support the international business. The Grains HR team is part of our broader GNC HR team.

In this role you will covering a Large geographical area with a diverse workforce, so you will be required to travel frequently to various sites and hold a drivers licence.

About your experience
To be successful in the role you will need have worked in a blue collar environment, possess relevant qualifications, have experience in a commercial environment as a business partner as well as IR and ER experience.

Experience in negotiating EBA agreements and liaising with unions is advantageous.

Preferred candidates will be required to provide proof of working rights and suitable professional referees. A current, valid driver's licence is also required.
