An experienced generalist operational HR Business Partner or HR Superintendent is required immediately.
Our client is a mining and construction contractor who is seeking the expertise of a generalist HR Business Partner or HR Superintendent for an immediate start.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for the provision of generalist HR services to their site-based workforce.
Collaborating and coaching the site base leadership team, you will be involved in the delivery of generalist advice related to policies and procedures, reviewing and updating policies and procedures, facilitating required training, including the support of psychosocial hazard awareness, employee relations including case investigations, performance management, grievances and disciplinaries, interpretation and implementation of the industrial tools, implementation of a new HRIS ad other projects.
This is a temporary contract requiring a start as soon as possible and will be for an initial three-month duration with the opportunity of permanence.
To be successful in your application, you will be an experienced generalist who has operated at this or a similar level, and offer a hands-on approach to human resources whilst excelling in your ability to coach and develop line management and influence best practice. Prior exposure to the mining sector would be preferred but a background within the heavy industrial or construction sectors will also be considered. It is essential that you have a working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards for Australia and currently reside in Perth, WA.
This position is based north of the River and will require travel once per month to site for up to four days.
