HR Business partner, perm position based in Sydney CBD salary up to 150k package

Our client is a leading player in the financial services sector who is seeking a new HR BP to join their organisation. The company has a progressive and friendly culture with an ambitious workforce and leadership group. The office is based in Sydney CBD with a competitive salary of up to $150,000k package and is a permanent opportunity.

Your new role

This role involves partnering with the Executive and Senior Leadership teams to drive success through people across all aspects of the employee experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to the organisation's leaders, providing expert advice across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
  • Lead strategic people planning for business units, focusing on engaging and retaining employees and improving the employee experience in the new normal.
  • Provide advice on employee relations matters.
  • Support leaders in embedding values, performance, and rewards programs.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture colleagues to deliver initiatives including DEI, policy writing, WHS, HRIS implementation, and workforce planning.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years of experience in a human resources business partner role, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • A commercially oriented, strategic mindset with high emotional intelligence and a focus on delivering outcomes.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to challenge and influence at all levels.
  • High proficiency in both written and oral communication.
  • A passion for people and driving initiatives that make a difference.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources or equivalent
