HR Business Partner role based in Chatswood, financial services organisation salary up to $130,000k plus super

Our client is a leading player in the finance sector who is seeking a new HR BP to join their organisation. The company has a progressive and friendly culture with an ambitious workforce and leadership group. The office is based in Chatswood with a competitive salary of up to $130,000k plus super and is a permanent opportunity.
Your new role
Responsibilities:

Reporting to senior leadership, managing a client group (200 staff), generalist tasks, ER, performance, stakeholder engagement.

Partnering and Stakeholder Management: Align people practices with department and team goals.

Employee Relations: Address queries, mediate conflicts, and promote a positive work environment.

Performance Management: Assist in developing performance management systems.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with Australian employment laws and regulations.

Policy Implementation: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

Implement a new HRIS system
-
Conduct training needs assessments and recommend learning solutions.

Updating policies and procedures
-
Exit interviews
-
Manage one direct report
What you'll need to succeed

This is an HRBP level role, so strong partnering and generalist experience is important, as well as:

Solid experience in a generalist HR experience

Advantageous if you have experience working in the financial services industry.

Understanding of Australian and NZ employment laws and regulations Preferable
-
Advantageous if you have experience implementing a new HRIS system.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
