3-Month contract role for an experienced HR Advisor in the education sector.
Your new company
Hays are proud to be partnering with a respected educational institution currently seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join their team. This opportunity offers a dynamic and values-driven environment where the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting workforce development, employee relations, and strategic HR initiatives.
Your new role
You'll be responsible for establishing and documenting end-to-end HR processes, from recruitment and onboarding through to performance management and professional development. With a strong focus on compliance and digital documentation, you'll create intuitive systems and templates that support operational excellence and future growth. You'll also play a central role in embedding performance review frameworks and supporting leadership with employee lifecycle documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have strong HR experience, particularly in designing and documenting processes across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and compliance. They should be highly organised, process-driven, and confident working with digital tools to create intuitive systems for storing and accessing governance documents. A solid understanding of employment documentation, audits, and training requirements is essential, along with the ability to manage sensitive information and collaborate effectively across teams.
You must have a current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) check and a current National Police Check (or be willing to obtain one).
