Your new organisation is a local council in the Sydney Eastern suburbs.

Your new role

Your role will provide a range of high quality and accurate HR advice and support services across the employee life-cycle to ensure the delivery of people management initiatives and projects across Council.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to managers and employees across the employee life-cycle as well as policy-related matters
  • Manage the P&C inbox and coordinate responses, providing accurate and timely HR advice
  • Support Recruitment Partners to ensure letter and contract generation and staff movements are administered appropriately within Council's systems
  • Manage all HR records and databases, ensuring all information is current, accurate, accessible and stored correctly
  • Coordinating onboarding and the setting up of new employees in the Payroll system.
  • Support with Performance Management, Case Management, Job Evaluation, and Learning and Development as required.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant experience in a similar role as an HR Advisor
  • Exposure and experience in the provision of advice across different areas of the employee life-cycle
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience and a demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
