An opportunity exists for an experienced Senior HR Advisor for a FIFO-based role.
This is an opportunity to join a top-tier mining owner/operator for a fixed-term contract that offers a balance of Perth and site-based roster, resulting in a 9-day fortnight.
You will be part of a large human resources team, but on site you will be standalone offering an HR service to all Superintendents and Supervisors to support their people management.
This position provides operational HR support, whilst a team of Perth-based HR Business Partners would support the strategy and centralised specialised functions exist for point of escalation.
This is both a site and Perth-based role that will require a two-night site stay on a weekly basis. The contract will conclude in January 2027.
To be successful in your application, you will be a strong generalist advisor, ideally, with prior site-based or FIFO experience within human resources in a complex, large-scale organisation within the mining and resources or heavy industrial sectors. Your stakeholder engagement and management will be your strength, coupled with your ability to provide visibility and face-to-face service. It is essential that you possess a working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards. The preference would be for an immediate start. However, a short-term notice period will be considered.
