Our Client
Our client is in the energy sector and is located in the CBD. They are seeking a talented and driven Employee Relations Specialist to join the team on a 3-month temporary basis as soon as possible.
Your new role
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in conducting investigations and managing cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and effectively, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Mediate conflicts between employees and management, fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that promote a positive workplace culture.
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints and workplace incidents.
- Design and deliver training programs on employee relations topics, such as conflict resolution and effective communication.
- Deal with matters at Fair work including the conciliation stage.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, providing guidance to management on legal and regulatory issues.
What you need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Employee Relations Role
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments.
- Proficiency in HR software and data analysis tools.
