An Employee Relations Business Partner is required by a mining organisation based on a DIDO 9-day fortnight.

Are you an HR professional with a passion for employee relations and fostering a positive workplace culture and driving employee engagement?

This is an opportunity to join a mining company based South West of Perth on a DIDO 9-day fortnight with accommodation provided Monday to Friday, and Monday to Thursday the following swing.

As the Employee Relations Business Partner, you will provide expert advice on workplace relations, support leaders in managing employee issues, and ensure compliance with related industrial relations legislation. Your ability to build strong relationships and navigate complex workplace dynamics will be essential in driving a culture of collaboration and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leadership teams to provide guidance on employee relations matters
  • Manage workplace investigations, grievances, and dispute resolutions
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, enterprise agreements and National Employment Standards
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention
  • Provide training and support on workplace relations best practices
To be successful in your application, you must be able to demonstrate proven experience within employee relations, ideally from within the mining or heavy industrial sector or related. It is essential that you possess a comprehensive understanding of the Fair Work Act and the industrial relations framework. You will excel in your written and verbal communication skills and possess an exceptional ability to guide, influence, train and develop line management and employees. This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment that is continuing to evolve and, therefore, you will possess a growth mindset and the ability to be agile to adapt to a changing environment. A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field would be preferred.
