Your new role
As an APS6 Rehabilitation Case Manager, you will lead complex case management activities, providing expert advice and coordination of rehabilitation services. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, medical professionals, and external providers to ensure timely, effective, and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing complex rehabilitation cases from early intervention through to return-to-work

Developing and implementing tailored rehabilitation and case management plans

Providing expert advice on injury management, workplace adjustments, and legislative compliance

Liaising with employees, managers, and treatment providers to coordinate services

Ensuring compliance with the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act and other relevant frameworks

Preparing high-quality reports, documentation, and case summaries for internal and external stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Demonstrated experience in rehabilitation case management within the APS or a similar environment

Strong understanding of relevant legislation and return-to-work principles

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills

High-level organisational and documentation capabilities

A current Baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain one (highly desirable)

Qualifications in allied health, rehabilitation, or a related field (desirable)
