Your new role

As an APS4/5 Recruitment Officer, you will play a key role in supporting end-to-end recruitment processes across a range of business areas. Working within a collaborative HR team, you will ensure recruitment activities are compliant with APS legislation and aligned with agency workforce strategies.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, shortlisting, interview scheduling, and merit-based selection
  • Drafting and reviewing job advertisements, selection documentation, and candidate communications
  • Providing advice on APS recruitment policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Supporting bulk recruitment rounds and talent pools
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external candidates to ensure a smooth recruitment experience
  • Maintaining accurate records and using eRecruitment systems

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous experience in APS recruitment processes and understanding of merit-based selection
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in recruitment systems and Microsoft Office
  • A current Baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain one (highly desirable)
