Your new role

You will step into an AO5‑equivalent People and Culture Advisor role. The position provides core P&C administration and first level HR advisory support.
Key duties include:

• Managing P&C inboxes and responding to enquiries.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and coordinating with the external payroll and LMS provider.
• Reviewing payroll reports and preparing workforce data.
• Overseeing onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Supporting recruitment, including role descriptions, evaluations and job advertisements.
• Coordinating training and providing committee secretariat support.
• Offering first level advice on legislation, awards, agreements, policy, recruitment, performance and workforce planning.
• Contributing to policy updates, process improvement and P&C project work.
  
  What you'll need to succeed
• Minimum two years of experience in a P&C or HR role.
• Strong administration and organisation skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Clear written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
• Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office. Aurion experience is desirable.
• Understanding of Queensland public sector employment frameworks.
• HR qualifications are desirable.
