The Talent Acquisition Specialist will contribute subject matter expertise as part of the HR/Recruitment function and take responsibility for the recruiting and sourcing of high quality candidates for our Defence Consulting Division. The opportunity will provide you with a collaborative environment in which to showcase your talent acquisition skills for a rapidly growing part of the SYSTRA Scott Lister brand.

The role:
  • Take ownership for end to end recruitment activities across a variety of technical positions including; Systems Engineering, Integration, Communications, Naval Systems and Program Management disciplines.
  • Fulfil the recruitment needs for SYSTRA Scott Lister’s Defence business in line with the overall business strategy to support new & existing projects in conjunction to a defined workforce planning schedule/strategy.
  • Business Partner with the GM of Technology Services and associated Managers to deliver end to end recruitment outcomes and in conjunction with existing processes & procedures.
  • Source and identify candidates utilising a range of proactive recruitment techniques, with an emphasis on leveraging from existing relationships & business networks of SYSTRA Scott Lister.
  • Add value in all aspects of hiring and interview activities to defined technical & behavioural competency frameworks.
  • Maintain the integrity of the CRM recruitment database and advertising systems including; Bullhorn, Broadbean and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Ensure compliance to the document management of new employee's HR files (resumes, candidate qualifications, works rights, reference checks, interview notes etc.)
  • Assist with the on boarding of new employees and ensure a seamless recruitment/on boarding experience for each candidate.
Required experience & skills:

  • A minimum of 5+ years Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience in-house. It would be advantageous if you have experience of disciplines in either the Defence, Engineering or IT sectors.
  • Experience of using a variety of strategic sourcing methods and the ability to manage/build a consistent talent pipeline.
  • Effective internal stakeholder engagement skills, with a high level of influencing and the ability to manage competing priorities to timed outcomes.
  • Experience using CRM database's and supporting recruitment software and systems.
