An exciting opportunity to join a local organisation in a newly created OH&S Coordinator role.

Your new company
Due to the increase demand in workplace health and safety, this newly created opportunity has come available for an experienced OH&S Coordinator to join a local organisation.

Your new role
This role will see you responsible for all OH&S operations for the organisation, both locally and remote sites. Duties will include however, not limited to;

  • Development, implementation and monitoring all OH&S policy and procedures and ensuring that they meet Australian legislative standards
  • Collaborate with staff and remote managers to implement any changes and identify any safety issues or risks
  • Monitor all OH&S activities throughout the organisation to ensure ongoing compliance and maintenance
  • Maintain all OH&S documents and records to ensure they meet auditing standards
  • Conduct regular reviews and and inspections of all site locations and making appropriate recommendations
  • Foster and develop a collaborate OH&S culture throughout the organisation
  • Develop, execute and monitor all safety training requirements

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate experience in the above key duties. You will be able to work in a dominant environment and comfortable to work and participate in regular travel in remote Australia. The successful candidate must also hold a minimum of Certificate IV in Work, Health, Safety and Training and Assessment
