About Them

Our client is a National Australian media company that is a household name.  This large and diverse organisation is undergoing a large scale restructure across the business led by the Learning Team. Reporting to, and working very closely with, the Head of Learning and OD, you will provide project management and coordination support in the planning and implementation of the learning projects ensuring deliverables are clearly identified and implemented, work is completed on time, and within budget.
  


About the Role

Reporting to, and working very closely with, the Head of Learning and OD, you will provide project management and coordination support in the planning and implementation of the learning projects ensuring deliverables are clearly identified and implemented, work is completed on time, and within budget.
You will proactively collaborate with and contribute to the learning project team to ensure the overall success of the project. 
  
Responsibilities include:
  • Manage the planning and implementation of Learning projects to agreed scope, timelines and costs.
  • Identify key milestones and prepare timelines and project plans; ensure risks are identified and mitigation strategies put in place
  • Monitor project performance and budget against master planning documents.
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues; guide and support Learning team members and project stakeholders to complete tasks and achieve objectives.  
  • Prepare project documentation and report on project performance against plans including schedules, resourcing, risks and issues. 


About You
  • Project Management qualifications and experience managing complex organisational initiatives.
  • Experience managing projects within a Learning or HR environment.
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in project planning, management, implementation, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in building strong stakeholder relationships and in negotiating and influencing stakeholders to achieve optimal project outcomes.   
  • High-level written and oral communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise and negotiate at different levels; demonstrated ability to influence others positively.
  • Advanced proficiency with software tools, including Office 365 products, particularly, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Experience with business readiness planning and monitoring, transition planning and post implementation monitoring
  • Previous experience in a Learning and Development capacity is highly desirable 
  • You will be a self-starter and capable of multi-tasking together with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
