About the Role
This is an interesting opportunity for an experienced Instructional Designer/L&D Consultant to be involved in a new initiative which is being piloted within the community across NSW.  This role will suit someone who likes to make a difference to the wellbeing of the public and enjoys working with like-minded and passionate individual’s.
You will be playing a key role in developing practical and relevant resources to be utilised to ensure that the pilot is a success.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
  • Consult with key stakeholders, including pilot participants, to identify their resources, support and training requirements. 
  • Work with subject matter experts to develop a framework of adult learning approaches and engagement strategies that will guide the delivery of the resources to communities.  
  • Review existing resources and strategies to prioritise messaging and identify gaps.  
  • Develop and draft resources and strategies that will form a simple self-guided approach for clients to engage in.
About Success 
To be successful in this role you will need:
  • Highly experienced education and/or training professional with an understanding of adult education and learning principles.
  • Ability to design, develop and refine draft resources and strategies that will form a comprehensive toolkit
  • Effective project management skills, including specification of objectives, and delivery or implementation strategies including evaluation of processes, impacts and outcomes of interventions or policies.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, including consultation with a variety of stakeholders to seek out their project requirements.
  • The ability to communicate complex scientific issues in simple form
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
